Restoration: rebuilding your life

Where I live, how I move, what I earn from, who helps me with the day: on its own each one is a chore, together they are one rebuild. I am doing it piece by piece, from the prices in my ledger, and I write each piece down as I go.

The four pieces of the rebuild, and the other side of each
Piece For Against Risk
Where I live One rent, one address, close to the services I use every day. A lease locks the year before I have walked the streets. Rent is quoted in pesos and the rate moves.
How I move Walking is free, and a ride is a few pesos. Peak hour turns a ten-minute ride into forty. I do not know the honest fare when I first arrive.
What I earn from Money that arrives whether or not I work that day. It is capital I am spending down if it stops arriving. Dividends can be cut, and I cannot control that.
Who helps me with the day Laundry, cooking, a haircut, a massage: work I can hand over. I have to be the kind of employer worth saying yes to. Being the one with more money changes the room.

Every price behind this table is one I paid, dated, in the ledger.

First plan

What can you do for yourself: a life centered on you, or around you

It is being built from my receipts, stop by stop. It opens with the MOA walk: ten stops around the Mall of Asia, each with the price I paid and the task I did. Ticks stay on your own phone.

Ten stops. Self-guided. Nothing to pay.

After this one

The first plan, not the last

When another is ready — stops walked, every price actually paid, what I did not know written down beside it — it lands here.

What the newsletter is

One thing to keep straight

This is the program I am running, not an offer of an outcome. What I do not know yet is written down beside what I do.

Why I came: why. What is happening right now: the ledger.
