What is being built

What is being built to move people

Three works run through the map around me: the extension of the light rail line into Cavite, a subway station at the airport, and the private operator rebuilding NAIA. The bus terminal at PITX is already there. Every line below carries the source I read it on.

The works, one line each

What is being built, what it is, what it is published to cost, and where it stands.

Phase 2 and Phase 3 dates differ across sources (one gives a year, another gives a different one); I do not publish them.

The proposed total cost of the subway and its completion target appear in the press (one report on the groundbreaking), and I have not read them on a government page. They are not on this page.

Living beside all of this, as I see it

My own reading of the choice, not a sourced number. The facts are above; this is what I make of them.
Option For Against Risk
Beside the terminal The bus and the train are a short walk, so a trip out of the city needs no second ride. Terminals draw traffic all day, and the streets around them hold the noise. Work on the line and the stations can close lanes and reroute the jeepneys for years.
Away from the works Quieter streets, and the construction traffic passes somewhere else. Every trip starts with a ride to the train, and the fare is paid twice. A unit far from the line asks less because it is far from the line.

No subway station is planned at the Mall of Asia or at Bay City; I could not find one on any official page. The nearest new station on that line is the one at NAIA Terminal 3.

I publish no distance here and no travel time. Every figure I found for the walk from the complex to the station came from a route planner, not from the operator, so it stays out.
